GENERAL: Siena’s top pitcher the past three seasons and the top-starter. Pahucki owns a 16-5 record against MAAC schools in his three years at Siena. Selected the MVP of the 1999 MAAC Tournament after posting a 10-2 victory in the Saints opening game with Rider. Good velocity and solid change make him difficult to hit when his location is on. Good knowledge of game allows him to mix pitches effectively.

AS A JUNIOR: Appeared in 12 games, starting 11. Second on the team with 36 strikeouts and 65.2 innings pitched. Walked just 19 batters (2:1 K:BB) and tossed only three wild pitches on season. Came on strong after losing first seven decisions and has won his last three starts entering the Tournament.
IN THE SUMMER OF 2000: Played for the Wilson Tobs of the Coastal Plain League and was selected to play in the All-Star game.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Started 12 games compiling a 5-4 record and a 4.54 ERA. Led the Saints’ staff in innings pitched (83.1), strikeouts (63) and wins (5). Allowed only 2.1 walks per nine innings. Best performance came against St. Peter’s (4/29) when he allowed only one run, struck out six, and sacrificed only five hits. Was named to the MAAC All-Academic team.
IN THE SUMMER OF 1999: Signed with the New York Generals of the ACBL. Was selected as a league all-star.
AS A FRESHMAN: Named MAAC Tournament MVP and First Team Freshman All-American. Broke the school record for wins in a season, and entered the NCAA's with a 9-0 record and a 3.04 ERA. Second on the team with 76 innings pitched and tops with 12 starts and six complete games. Pitched Siena to a 10-2 victory over Rider in the MAAC Tournament opener, losing a no-hitter in the sixth inning on an infield single.
ROSSI ON PAHUCKI: “Dave had an up and down 2001. We look for him to return to his 1999 or 2000 form and emerge as one of the leaders of our pitching staff.”
