Michaud handles a bulk of the recruiting responsibilities for the Saints, in addition to overseeing the development of the pitching corps.
Michaud worked closely with the pitching staff as well as the Rockford hitters, helping the program establish 16 school records in his first season. Michaud had been an assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville the year before.
As an undergraduate at Eastern Connecticut University, Michaud served as assistant varsity coach and head sub varsity coach helping the program capture the Division III National Championship in 1998 and 2002. He also spent time as a coach in the New England Collegiate Baseball League working for the Eastern Tides in the summer of 2001 and the Manchester Silkworms in 2002.
Michaud received his bachelor's degree in physical education and his teaching certification from Eastern Connecticut in 2002.
