ROSSI ON MARTIS:
    "Tyler has been our every day short stop the last two seasons. With that much experience, we will need him to take his game to the next level this spring and emerge as a steady offensive threat and one of the top defensive players in the conference."

AS A SOPHOMORE:
  • Played in school-record 60 games, making 59 starts at short stop
  • Posted a .926 fielding percentage and was in the middle of team record 67 double plays turned
  • Batted .171 (28-for-164) with 16 runs scored and 11 RBI
  • Went 3-for-5 with a run scored in MAAC Tournament opener against Fairfield (5/22)

AS A FRESHMAN:
  • Started all 57 games for the Saints
  • Batted .269 (49-for-182) with 19 RBI and 25 runs scored
  • Had 12 multi-hit games and strung together a six game hit streak in conference play in May
  • Went 22-for-51, batting .431 in May with seven RBI
  • Hit .333 (26-for-78) in 24 conference games
  • In the MAAC Championships, he went 2-for-3 with two doubles, three RBI and two runs scored in 12-5 win over Marist (5/24)

BEFORE SIENA:
  • Posted a .550 on-base percentage as a junior at Governor Livingston High School batting .350 with 35 hits, 30 walks, and 21 stolen bases in 21 attempts
  • In the field, he was part of a double-play combination that set a state record with 61 twin killings in a single season
