GENERAL: Versatile talent who was recruited as a catcher...Offensive-minded...Will add depth in infield and outfield as well.

BEFORE SIENA: First Team All-District 4A-15...Batted .422 with 21 RBI for highly-regarded Doral Academy as a senior...Played four years of varsity, his first three coming at Coral Park.

ROSSI ON GARCIA: "Javier will be competing for playing time behind the plate. He has a real good approach at the plate, and if he gets out of the gate early he could see time at third base, outfield or DH."
