GENERAL: Expected to challenge for spot in weekend rotation...Talented pitcher with excellent command...Attended one of the top Parochial schools on Long Island, with a history of outstanding players and teams...Superb all-around athlete...Versatile pitcher who can start or pitch in any short or long relief situation...Will look to build upon breakout year he had as a junior.

AS A JUNIOR: MAAC All-Academic Team selection...Appeared in 11 games, including six starts...Finished third on the staff with four victories...Notched first career win, hurling seven solid innings of three hit, one run baseball with five K's in 9-1 rout of Hofstra (3/25)...Led Saints to berth in MAAC Championship series after firing seven innings of two run baseball in eliminating top-seed Canisius (5/23)...Earned permanent spot in weekend rotation in late April and overall as a starter in six appearances went 4-1 with two complete games and a 3.05 ERA, while lasting at least six innings each time.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Pitched 26 innings in 15 relief appearances...Earned three saves with a 6.58 ERA...Struck out 22 batters which led all relievers...Earned a save by pitching two shutout innings with five strikeouts to close out Fairfield 9-7 (4/28)...Pitched two innings of no-hit ball with two strikeouts to record the save against Niagara (4/8)...In his last seven appearances, he earned all three of his saves and recorded no losses.

AS A FRESHMAN: Started three times while appearing in 14 games...Struck out 22 and walked 22 in 38.1 innings...Finished with an 0-5 record, but posted a respectable 5.40 ERA with one save...Gave up just five hits and one earned run in seven innings during his final start of the season against Fairfield (5/19).

BEFORE SIENA: Garnered All-League accolades his junior and senior year...Following his junior year, he was named All FABL that summer...Led his Junior Varsity squad to the Catholic High School Athletic Association Championship as a sophomore, while returning to the championship as a senior...Recorded a perfect 5-0 record as a member of the varsity team...Pitched a total of 40 1/3 innings, striking out 43 batters, while walking only nine...Threw for a combined ERA of 1.56 during his tenure as a varsity pitcher.

ROSSI ON HASSETT: "Will had a strong finish last year winning a game in the conference tournament. He needs to be effective in whatever role he is assigned for this year's club to be successful."
