IN THE SUMMER OF '01: Played for the Petersburg Generals of the Coastal Plains League. Was named Mizuno Hitter of the Week for the week of 7/10.
AS A JUNIOR: Led team in batting average (.325), home runs (13) and RBI (51). Batted .390 with runners on base and .343 with runners in scoring position. Averaged .93 RBI/game. Produced 16 multi-hit games and a team-high seven games with three hits or more. Tallied a team-high 13 multi-RBI games. Compiled a 13-game hitting streak. Stole 13 bases in 16 attempts.. Led squad with a .378 batting average and 10 home runs against MAAC opponents.
IN THE SUMMER OF '00: Played for the Delaware Valley Gulls of the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League where he was awarded Sportsman of the Year by the league. Was among the league leaders in average (.366), slugging percentage (.580), home runs (4) and RBI (27). Finn was also named to the league’s All-Star team.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Named All-MAAC and received Northeast Regional All-Star honors. Led the Saints in batting average (.360), homeruns (12), at-bats (178) and slugging percentage (.663). Tied for the team lead in doubles (12) and triples (3), and ended second in RBI (39). Finn tied what was the school record for hits in a season (64). Demonstrated his versatility and speed stealing 10 bases. Troubled Iona in a weekend series (3/25-26), homering in all three games, while batting .545 and knocking in six runs.
AS A FRESHMAN: Inserted into the lineup for the first time on March 12th, and remained there for the duration of the season. Was third on the team in hitting (.348) and led the team in home runs (9). Owned a remarkable slugging percentage of .622 and crushed eight home runs during a single week (4/1-8), capped by three in one day during a sweep of conference rival LeMoyne (4/7). Was recognized as MAAC Rookie of the Year, Player of the Week (4/12, 4/26), and was named to the All-Tournament team after hitting .363 with six RBI.
IN HIGH SCHOOL: A two sport athlete at Clinton. Excelled in baseball and soccer. Named Tri-Valley League Player of the Year in 1998.
