In 2002, he worked as an assistant coach at Rowan University in New Jersey. Fahy was a Second Team All-Colonial Athletic Association selection in 2002 at Delaware. He helped the Blue Hens to two NCAA Regional appearances during his time as a player, breaking the school's stolen bases record in 2002. He graduated with a degree in history later that year.
At Delaware, Fahy assisted the Blue Hens in recruiting, practice preparation and individual instruction.This past summer, he gained additional experience as an assistant for the Wilmington Sharks of the Coastal Plains League..
Fahy is responsible for all aspects of recruiting and a wide array of tasks including developing practice schedules and working with the offense, outfielders and baserunning on a daily basis.
"Casey come from a Division I program and was highly recommended," Head Coach Tony Rossi said. "He brings a unique energy and vision to the staff, and I will rely on him heavily as we build our program for the future."
