ROSSI ON SWAIN:
“Danny had an injury riddled season where he missed 11 games. He is an outstanding defender, and was a major offensive force when in the lineup. With plus speed, the coaching staff is looking for him to be one of the top players in the conference. If he remains on the field, he will be a major force.”

AS A JUNIOR:
  • Second Team All-MAAC selection was two-time MAAC Player of the Week (Apr. 12, May 10)
  • Ranked tied for second in the MAAC in triples (four), fifth in slugging percentage (.531) eighth in runs scored (42), and tied for ninth in total bases (94), despite missing 11 games
  • Tied for the team lead with nine multi-RBI performances, and was tied for second with 15-multi hit efforts including a pair of four-hit games
  • Went 4-for-4 with two runs scored and a pair of triples in MAAC Tournament vs. Canisius (May 26)
  • Was 4-for-6 with three runs scored and four RBI vs. Saint Peter's (May 8)

AS A SOPHOMORE:
  • MAAC All-Tournament Team selection (8-for-22)
  • Started all 49 games he played in centerfield
  • Collected 125 putouts and had three assists, playing stellar defense all season
  • Had 14 multi-hit games including four-hit performance in MAAC Tournament win over Quinnipiac (May 22)
  • Went 3-for-5 with an RBI in first MAAC Championship game against Canisius (May 23)
  • Went 3-for-4 in key extra-inning MAAC win at Fairfield (May 15)
  • Led team with 12 stolen bases and was second with 32 runs scored

AS A FRESHMAN:
  • 2014 MAAC Rookie of the Year
  • Two-time MAAC Player of the Week (Feb. 18 and Mar. 18)
  • 59 games played marked a program record for a freshman and his 61 hits was the fourth highest total for a Siena rookie ever
  • Started 59 of 60 games in centerfield, batting .293 with 27 RBI and 21 runs scored
  • Homered in first collegiate game for first college hit at Central Florida (Feb. 14)
  • Went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI in Siena's historic 9-8 victory over Dallas Baptist in NCAA Tournament (May 31)
  • Had 17 multi-hit games and six multi-RBI games

BEFORE SIENA:
  • 2012 Bay State Carey All-Conference selection and Boston Globe All-Scholastic All-Star
  • 2013 Boston Herald Preseason Dream Team Selection
  • Played through minor hand injury senior year which limited his offensive production
