ROSSI ON GOOSSENS: "Bryan had a hard luck freshman season where he was used out of the bullpen and as a spot starter. He made 15 appearances and even though he only had one win, he had a credible era, 3.64 in 64 1/3 innings. He only walked nine batters the entire season. He is a talented pitcher who the staff is hoping has a breakout season. At the conclusion of the fall he was in the hunt for one of the three conference weekend starting slots. He can be a major force this year if he continues to work hard and get better."
