    "Brian was used exclusively as a DH last year. This year he will have the opportunity to win the starting job at first base. He's shown he can be a productive force in our lineup, but we'll need him to deliver more consistently in his final year with the program."

AS A JUNIOR:
  • MAAC All-Academic Team selection
  • Started 51 of the 55 games he played batting .242 with 40 hits and 27 RBI
  • Had a key two-run double in Siena's 6-5 come-from-behind victory over Canisius in game one of the MAAC Championship series (5/25)
  • Drew 26 walks and posted a .343 on-base percentage
  • Walked three times and scored two runs in program's first NCAA win over Dallas Baptist (5/31)

  • An Under Armour Preseason All-American as a senior, an All-State selection, and a two-time All-Conference honoree
  • Also played ice hockey at Pomperaug, and was a two-time All-Conference selection
  • Captained both teams as a senior, and both squads won state championships
