GENERAL: Local product and very versatile athlete...Came up huge with several key hits in last year's postseason...A very good contact hitter who can draw walks with regularity.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Played in 32 games, making 28 starts...Hit .163, with 10 RBI and 11 runs scored...Hit his stride in the MAAC Tournament, going 3-for-3 with two RBI against Rider (5/26) and driving in two more against Manhattan (5/27).

AS A FRESHMAN: Appeared in 44 games, starting 35...Hit .326, with 18 RBI, 29 runs scored, two stolen bases, and a .380 on-base percentage...Moved to the outfield, and committed just four errors on the year...Had 12 multi-hit games, and set a season-high of four at Canisius (4/18) and at Manhattan (5/21)...Drove in five runs in the season finale against the Jaspers while also scoring four.

BEFORE SIENA: Earned four varsity letters in baseball and was named team MVP three times...Competed in the Empire State Games in 2006 and 2007...Was a member of the Saratoga Stampede summer team.

ROSSI ON BALDANI: "Kyle was injured for a time last year, and once he returned, he really never got on track and struggled offensively. Now that he's injury-free, he's playing very well, and he should see time both as a catcher an DH this coming spring."
