Max Jack Joins Cross Country Coaching Staff

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Max Jack was recently hired as Siena's assistant cross country coach. He will be responsible for helping in all aspects of daily practices, assisting in coaching the team on race day, and contributing to recruiting efforts. This past season, Jack volunteered as an assistant cross country coach at Shenendehowa High School. He oversaw warm-ups, track workouts and weight-lifting sessions, developed runners and supported student athletes. Jack ran four years of cross country and track and field at Union College. He served as team captain as a senior and was a three-year member of Student athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). He graduated from Union in 2010. Last summer, Jack interned at Trail Runner Magazine where he researched, wrote and edited articles for publication. Siena begins its 2010 season at the Marist Season Opener this Saturday at 9 a.m.
