Gizzarelli and Akana Named Student-Athletes of the Month

Cross country runner Lia Gizzarelli (Newburgh, N.Y.) and volleyball standout Taylor Akana (Kaneohe, Hawaii) have been named Siena College's Leo Dufort Student Athletes of the Month representing the month of November. Cross Country Finishes Season Strong

The Siena Cross Country teams finished the season strong Saturday at the 2012 Division I ECAC/IC4A Cross Country Championships at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx. The men finished fourth overall - a 10-place improvement from last year - while the women were a much improved 13th overall. [read more]

Men's Cross Country Races at NCAA Northeast Regional

Siena Men's Cross Country ran in their penultimate race of the 2012 season, finishing 30th overall at the NCAA Northeast Regional at Hammonasset State Park in Madison, Conn. Freshman Nick Miller paced the Saints, finishing the 10K course in a time of 33:09.5. [read more]
