Siena Cross Country Performs Well in Fordham Invitational

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Twin sisters Kim and Michelle Milton each ran the 5K course in under 20 minutes to pace Siena's surprising finish in the 2002 Fordham Ram Cross Country Invitational in the Bronx Saturday afternoon. Pat Gaffney placed 60th to lead the men's team with a time of 28:48.26.

The Siena women finished in fourth place in the 15-team event. Kelsey Hanno, Joan Paul and Kate Luker all joined the Milton's in the top-40 of individual performers. Freshman Bryan Knifping and senior Phil Shea finished in the top-100 on the men's side. The men placed 12th of 17 schools, but defeated conference foes Saint Peter's and Rider for the first time in years.
