Alumni Recreation Center (ARC)
The Alumni Recreation Center serves as the home for Siena's women's basketball and volleyball teams. Both programs have enjoyed tremendous success over the years, creating many memorable moments in the building known simply as "The ARC" across campus. In the summer of 2011 the ARC underwent a facelift as the playing floor was resurfaced and new artwork was added.
The women's basketball team has made its home at the ARC since 1974. Since calling the ARC home, the Saints have won seven MAAC Regular Season Titles and captured the MAAC Championship in 2001. The women's basketball program has also made four postseason appearances in the NCAA Tournament (2001) and WNIT (1999, 2002, 2003). Entering the 2012-13 season, the Saints are 197-110 (.642) all-time at the ARC including a 2-1 record in the WNIT.
Siena's volleyball program has won eight MAAC Championships and made five NCAA Tournament Appearances since 1993. Since joining the conference in 1990, the Saints boast an impressive 151-84 (.643) in the MAAC. Under the direction of now 10th year head coach Garvey Pierre, the Saints have made four trips to the NCAA Tournament, traveling to play First Round games in Fort Collins, Colo, State College, Pa., Albany, N.Y. and Berkeley, Calif.
