Dennis Bates
Associate Athletic Director of Operations

Dennis Bates begins his seventh year at Siena College and his third year as the Associate Athletic Director of Operations. In that role, he is responsible for overseeing the athletic facilities, managing the business operations arm of the athletic department, managing the sports and recreation area, department policy and procedure implementation, as well as being the acting liaison with various offices at the College. Bates also serves as the primary sport administrator for Siena's men's and women's tennis, men's and women's cross country and swimming and diving teams.

Bates served as Assistant Athletic Director of Business Affairs at the College from 2005 to 2008, and as the Financial Analyst for the College prior to that.

"We are happy to have Dennis in this critical position," Director of Athletics John D'Argenio said. "His presence has an impact on our efficiency and is an asset to all the areas in the athletic department."

A 2003 graduate of Manhattan College with a B.S. in Finance, Bates came to the athletic department from the College's Finance office where he began his career as Financial Analyst for the College.

Bates currently resides in nearby East Greenbush with his wife Larissa.
