Siena's men's and women's tennis, women's cross country, water polo and women's golf programs earned Public Recognition Awards from the NCAA for posting Academic Progress Rates (APR) in the top-10 percent of their respective sports across the membership. (June 2013)

Women's Golf's Megan Cahill, Cortney Tilley, Mary Fletcher and Katie Nelson were named Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars, attaining a stringent 3.5 GPA.

Men's Basketball's O.D. Anosike and Davis Martens were each named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court for excelling academically during the 2012-13 season.

Five student athletes from the Siena Water Polo team were named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo (ACWPC) All-Academic Team. Rising junior Kori Swieter headlined the honorees by receiving the highest honor of "outstanding" distinction for accruing a GPA of 3.71 or higher. Swieter currently possesses a 3.8 cumulative GPA. Rebecca Robinson '13 (3.65), rising junior Madeline Hurley (3.44) and rising sophomore Brianna Ritota (3.52) earned "superior" status for posting cumulative GPAs between 3.41 and 3.70. Rising junior Stephanie Bundas (3.38) received "excellent" recognition, reserved for student athletes who post between a 3.20 and 3.40 GPA.
