Athletic Facility and Operations Internship
The Siena athletics internship program is an un-paid position for credit and/or field experience. We will work with you to ensure that any standards required to fulfill the expectations for college credit/field experience are met.
Siena College, a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, invites applications for the position of Athletic Facilities and Operations Intern. This internship will assist the Athletic Facilities and Operations Office. The position also includes night and weekend coverage for Siena sporting events, including men's basketball contests held at the Times Union Center in downtown Albany, NY.
- Assisting with the set-up and break down of all Siena Athletic facilities for athletic and non-athletic contests
- Assist with conversions of facilities
- Maintain and operate database of all equipment
- Deliver equipment as it is requested
- Liaison to visiting teams
- Other duties as assigned.
The internship runs fromJune through August for the summer semester (2 positions available), September through December for the fall semester (4 positions available), and January through May for the spring semester (4 positions available).
Qualifications: Enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program is required. Preferred qualifications include experience in event management.
