Mroczkowski Named Athletic Communications Assistant/Multimedia Coordinator

Sept. 11, 2017

LOUDONVILLE, NY—The Siena College Athletic Department is happy to announce the hiring of Sara Mroczkowski as the athletic communications assistant/multimedia coordinator.

“Growing up in this area, Siena was always another home to me,” said Mroczkowski. “I’m honored to be able to work here now and be able to give back to the same community that has given so much to me.”

The 518 native was a 2013 graduate of Shaker High School and recent graduate of the University of Hartford in May where she received her Bachelors in Communications with an emphasis in Media and Journalism.

Mroczkowski isn’t unknown to the Siena Family after being the first ‘Lil Saint’ of the Year award recipient back in 2004 for her dedication and love for all of Siena Athletics.

For the last two years in Hartford, Mroczkowski worked closely with Athletics in the Communications Department. Mroczkowski assisted the department with video editing and filming home games, practices, away games, and conference championships.

During Harford’s transition this past winter into broadcasting through ESPN3, Mroczkowski played a role in producing shows, filming events, and conducting interviews.

As a senior, she was honored by the Hartford Athletics staff and student athletes by being named the recipient of the Service Award, which is given annually to a non-student athlete who made an impact on the Hawks.
