Siena College, a NCAA Division I institution and member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, is seeking an Assistant Athletic Director for Development. Siena College offers 19 varsity sports, 11 for women and eight for men, and is located two miles north of Albany, the capital of New York State. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the day-to-day operations of the department's annual giving fund, planning and organizing fundraising events, developing and implementing strategies for identification, cultivation and solicitation of prospective donors.
Candidates should possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree, master's degree preferred, and one to three years experience in athletics administration and/or fund raising. Successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, knowledge of NCAA rules, good computer skills as well as experience with either annual funds or capital giving.
