Ivey Speight Joins Athletic Communications Staff

Speight has been hired as the new media coordinator for the Saints

Ivey Speight has been hired as the athletics communications intern and multimedia coordinator for Siena College. Speight is a 2012 graduate of Fairfield University where he studied television and journalism, and served as sports director for the campus radio station.

Speight is responsible for producing video content (features, highlights, etc.) for, coordinating web streaming for live events, and creating special event video. He will also serve as the primary communications contact for assigned sports, overseeing gameday operations, and preparing promotional material. He will also be the play-by-play voice for several Siena All Access productions.

At Fairfield, Speight was involved with over 100 broadcasts in seven different sports. He created the first MAAC Tournament 12-hour radio show, consisting of interviews with every school's men's and women's basketball teams. Speight also produced various segments for Fairfield's EMMY-nominated Stags Country, which aired on Sportsnet New York.
