Siena College Names Jill Guarino Assistant Athletic Trainer

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Siena Athletics recently named Jill Guarino assistant athletic trainer. Guarino will aid the Sports Medicine department in injury treatment, rehabilitation, acute care and daily operations. She possesses over six years of professional experience, including four serving the Saints' as a part-time assistant trainer.

Guarino's most recent experience comes from her tenure at Athletic Dynamics in Clifton Park, N.Y. where she served as an athletic trainer and strength specialist. She oversaw the daily conditioning and implemented performance enhancement programs for various levels of skilled athletes.

Prior to Athletic Dynamics, Guarino spent a year as an athletic trainer at High Performance Sports Inc. in Peabody, Mass. During this experience, Guarino developed personalized strength and conditioning programs for clients, while also assisting with orthopedic procedures.

Guarino graduated cum laude from North Adams State College in 1997 earning her bachelors degree in Biology/Athletic Training. In 2001, she completed her master's degree at the University of Connecticut concentrating in Education/Biomechanics.
