Dates: July 22 - July 26; Day Camp (ages 8-17)
Time: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

8:30 a.m. Head down to field
8:45 a.m. Jog & Stretch
9:00 a.m. Throwing Progression
9:15 a.m. Group Defensive Fundamentals
 Break up into groups based on age. One group does infield and the other outfield then switch
10:15 a.m. Individual Skill Instruction
  Pitchers, catchers, infielders and outfielders break into groups to get position specific instruction
11:00 a.m. Team Instruction
  Examples: Base-running, bunting, cut-offs, etc
11:30 a.m. Lunch
12:25 p.m. Indoor Time
 One group will watch a movie & the other will be inside hitting in the batting cage area and then they switch
  *Note: some of the film we show is softball specific- video of hitting/defense
2:45 p.m. Game time at the field!
4:30 p.m. Pick-up

*Wednesday or Thursday we have a “wet day” with a water balloon toss and slip ‘n slide (a fun way to teach them to slide!) to end the day. The day chosen is based on weather. We use Friday as a competition/game day. Games have included: homerun derby, base-running, relays, longest throw, most accurate throw. We break earlier to hand out awards!
